Summer 2027 Internship Program for students with physical disabilities at Gregory S. Fehribach Center at Eskenazi Health Open House / Information Discussion Monday, October 12, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Career Center, Room 119. 

Come meet staff from the Gregory S. Fehribach Center in Indianapolis at the Career Center (come and go when you can). The Fehribach Center provides paid internships to college students with physical disabilities (mobility, visual, hearing, & orthopedic). Internships are available for all majors, and freshmen through graduate students are eligible to apply. In addition to the internship, housing and transportation assistance is provided as needed, along with impactful professional development opportunities throughout the summer. 

Since its inception, the Fehribach Center has facilitated internships for 305 college students with physical disabilities in the Indianapolis area. Eleven Indiana State University students have completed 25 Fehribach Center internships in the past; 3 Indiana State students interned in the summer of 2026. Among the 50+ employers who have hosted Fehribach Center interns are: Eskenazi Health, Eli Lilly, Cummins, Ice Miller, BraunAbility, the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, and Christel House International.
