We’ve officially started planning for Welcome to the Neighborhood and want you to join us! This event will take place on Friday, August 14 from 7-9 pm.
During the event, we take over the Hulman Memorial Student Union (HMSU) to host an interactive and engaging resource fair. This isn’t just a regular tabling event; this is a chance for you to connect with students once they move onto campus. We really want this event to be focused on keeping them engaged as they interact with each area. Offices located within HMSU will welcome students into their spaces to meet staff, learn about available resources, and participate in an activity.
For departments and organizations not located in HMSU, you will be stationed in one of the Dedes with the same goal in mind. We aim to create meaningful engagement, rather than having students simply stop by for a passport stamp and move on.
