The OLLI End of Life Series begins with a practical and informative look at funeral planning and the steps that follow a loss. Led by Susie French, owner and operator of French, Lawson-Miller & Schoppenhorst Funeral Homes, this session draws on more than 30 years of experience to guide participants through funeral and memorial options, typical costs, and what to expect in the immediate aftermath of death. Thoughtful attention is also given to pre-planning one’s own funeral and interment, ensuring personal wishes are honored while easing decision-making for loved ones. Additional discussion includes personal belongings and ways to support others through grief with clarity and care.
