On Monday, June 29, Indiana State University’s Center for Community Engagement will host a “Stop and Serve” event at the fountain from 10:00 a.m. to noon. During the event, volunteers will assemble hygiene kits for local veterans.
This effort provides our students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors with a meaningful way to honor America’s 250th by putting service into action and supporting members of the local community.
“Stop and Serve” and enjoy a cookie with lemonade. Volunteers can also pick up a small American Flag to display in their office or at home.
