Program Availability 

The Music Theory and Composition minor is available on the Indiana State University campus, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The minor is not available online. Designed to complement music majors, the minor is only available to undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree. 

Courses for the Music Theory and Composition Minor

The Music Theory and Composition minor gives you the opportunity to study music from creative and analytical perspectives. Coursework includes music theory, musicianship skills, composition, and songwriting, helping you strengthen your understanding of musical structure and expression.
