Commencement is an exciting time for graduating students! Review information about attending Commencement ceremonies (in person and online), parking, regalia for students, and ordering Commencement photographs from GradImages.
Spring 2026 Commencement – Saturday, May 9, 2026
Come celebrate our graduates at our Commencement ceremonies. All ceremonies are held on campus at our Hulman Center, located at 200 North 8th Street in Terre Haute, 47809. Doors will open one hour prior to each ceremony.

Graduate Ceremony
This ceremony will be held at 9:00 am and will include all Doctoral, Master’s and EdS degree candidates.

Undergraduate Ceremonies
Undergraduate #1: This ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm and will include the College of Arts and Sciences & Scott College of Business.

Undergraduate #2: This ceremony will be held at 3:00 pm and will include the Bailey College of Engineering & Technology, Bayh College of Education, & College of Health and Human Services.
Seating & Ticket Information
- Tickets are not required to enter the Hulman Center for our Commencement ceremonies.
- There are no guest limits or seating restrictions during any of our Commencement ceremonies.
- Our ceremonies are also livestreamed to allow additional loved ones to celebrate their graduates in real time.
- For those requiring ADA seating, we kindly ask you to arrive early and utilize the Hulman Center West entrance (located on the 8th Street side). Please allocate sufficient time for parking and entry into the building.
- Please ensure your belongings are in clear bags to expedite entry. Backpacks or non-clear bags will not be permitted on the main floor area. Learn more about the Clear Bag Policy

Regalia for Students
Caps and gowns may be ordered online from Barnes & Noble Bookstore. Contact the bookstore at 812-673-9299 with any questions about ordering your commencement regalia. Other accessories may be ordered through the bookstore. Your regalia can be shipped to you, or you may select in-store pick-up at the Graduation Fair.
